The design makes it feel rugged, And yes, It copes admirably with a dunking in water., Decent photo and hidef video quality, Small and light, Waterproof, Comes with loads of accessories, Great value for money, Great value, Well-built, Robust construction despite small size, High-definition video and HDMI connection, Wellbuilt, Highdefinition video and HDMI connection, Pluses, 36 mm focal length in 720p, HDMI cable supplied, Waterproof to 3 metres, Very easy to use, Inexpensive price, Simple one touch recording, Large responsive buttons and controls, Rock solid build, Yet relatively lightweight, Cool design, Lightweight and compact, HDMI connectivity offered alongside AV and USB out, Memory expandable via (optional) SD or SDHC cards
  • There’s not too much to criticise the Playsport for, Confusing icons in the settings menu,
    As it’s generally a fresh and fun camcorder/camera. We didn’t really rate it’s low-light performance, Which was a bit murky and the 4x zoom felt ‘sticky’ when we wanted it to be smooth., No standard 4, 3 setting for photos, Footage can look very wobbly, Doesn't float, Poor indoor performance, Only mono sound, Lots of wind noise on microphone, Digital zoom makes for worse footage, Minuses, 48 mm focal length in 1080p, No optical zoom, No microphone entry, Fingers can stray into shot, Mono sound, Some menu icons impenetrable, Lens itself is tiny, Mono microphone and speaker – picks up wind noise, No convenient flip out USB arm offered as on direct competitors, Tiny lens means this is better for outdoor use

Good:  This is a good-value camera and one that delivers decent levels of detail, accurate colours and sharp focusing. It’s easy to use, quick to record, and is YouTube-friendly, too, offering a simple and straightforward way of uploading and sharing your clips. Bottomline:  Small, simple and submersible to 3m, Kodak's PlaySport keeps the price down without dropping the image quality too far. It has its share of flaws but it's great fun to use....
